FAQ’s

Choosing a photographer for your event can be frightful, so here are some frequently asked questions to help you on choosing the right one.

COVID-19 Update – January 2022

• I’m fully vaccinated and have received my booster shot and during our session, I will have hand sanitizer and wipes available. (Mask wearing will be discussed just prior to your session)
• Until further notice, all meetings will be held electronically through Zoom, FaceTime, email, text or phone call keep proximity contact to a minimum.

What Should I expect My During Cap and Gown Sessions?

• For Cap & Gown photos, please check to see if your campus is allowing visitors; if not, we can move your shoot to a nearby location of your choice.
• I will have an extra cap and gown (green) available if you need one for your photo session. If you need to borrow one, please let me know and I’ll bring it with me.
• I highly suggest asking to borrow a gown specific to your school’s colors.
• Make sure to bring any sashes or tassels that you would like to use during your photo shoot.
• Popping some bubbly is a popular option for college graduates. If you haven’t popped a bottle of bubbly before, I highly recommend practicing prior to your photoshoot. It’s more difficult than it looks!
• Confetti is a popular prop for celebration shoots; however, if you’d like to be more eco-friendly, bubbles are a fun alternative.

What Is Your Turnaround Time For Finishing The Edits From My Shoot?

• After your shoot, it will take me at least 2-3 weeks, or sooner, to completely edit your photos. Total number of photos edited is based on the package you ordered.
• Final high-resolution edits will be uploaded to SmugMug, my online photo gallery, from where you may review your photoshoot and order prints directly. I have connected with BayPhoto.com, a professional printing lab based in CA who is beyond superb. You may also download your high resolution files from your personalized SmugMug link.
• With regard to ordering photos, I strongly urge you to order straight from your SmugMug link. Neither my clients nor I have ever had any photo quality issues when using BayPhoto.com.
• Should you get your photos printed from another printing house that is not connected to the SmugMug link I sent you, please note that I will not be held liable / responsible should your photos be of sub-standard quality.

What Should I Bring For Photoshoot Props?

• Feel free to bring any desired props to your session. For yearbook photos, please check in with your school about their policy with props in photos.
• Confetti and eco-friendly bubbles …
